I have been taking a more minimalist view when it comes to every aspect of my life, as well as my makeup routine. My daily routine has become a lot more streamlined and simple, made up of only a few products. This makeup takes me no more than 10 minutes to achieve in the morning so it's the perfect go-to for when I am in a rush and have no time to pull out my usual winged eyeliner.
I have fallen back in love with the Bourjous Healthy Mix Serum Foundation, this really is the best foundation you can get from the drugstore in my opinion. It glides on effortlessly no matter your means of application, blends into the skin flawlessly leaving a natural dewy look to the skin. I don't know how I went without it for so long but I am back in love, this is probably my 4th of 5th bottle of the stuff - which really is saying something for a foundation hoarder like myself. Then I will use the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer to brighten up my under eyes and to cover any imperfections, this isn't my favourite concealer ever as the coverage isn't really anything to shout about but it does the job. My all time favourite will always be the Urban Decay Naked Concealer which I need to repurchase pronto.

When I'm in a rush I pretty much will always skip on powder and bronzer and instead go for highlighter to bring some life to my face. Mary Lou Manizer has been my favourite highlighter for as long as I can remember, definitely a holy grail worthy product. It's the perfect shade that is light enough for my pale, pale skin yet still a creamy champagne shade that complements my skin.

For eyebrows I will quickly fill them in with some kind of pencil and right now said pencil has been the Sleek Brow Stylist. It has a slanted tip which makes carving out the eyebrows super easy and allows you to make a really perfect arch with minimal effort. I usually will touch up using an angled brush to blur the edges so they look a bit more natural.

When it comes to eyes I like to keep it simple but still make it the focal point of the face, almost tricking people into thinking you have put a lot of effort into your makeup when infact you only woke up about 20 minutes ago. For this I put the Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in 39 Dark Taupe all over the lid and just blend out with my fingers to add a bit of drama to the eyes and finish off with plenty of coats of mascara. Recently I have been using this mascara which I got in a gift set for Christmas and is surprisingly good but I love any mascara that gives me lots of length.
