CAPTURING COLOGNE

December 27, 2016

To end the somewhat unintended blog hiatus I have been on for the past 2 months I come back with a short but sweet summary of my trip to Cologne I made back in October. I didn't snap many pictures during my trip which is unlike me for sure but I rounded up some of the pictures I liked to create a 'postcard from cologne' type of post.

Cologne is such a great city, definitely a good choice for my first trip to Germany. If only I was there a month or so later to witness the famous Cologne Christmas market. We started the day by climbing almost 100m all the way to the top of the Cathedral, I don't want to even think about the number of stairs I walked up that morning but we were greeted by the most amazing panoramic views of the city upon reaching the top - totally worth it. As we were pushed for time we devoted the rest of the day to just aimlessly walking and exploring the city, coming across the love lock bridge and walking down the Rhine river and then sitting down for an ironically Italian meal for lunch. Cologne is definitely a city that I will be visiting again.

The normal beauty posts will be back on schedule in the new year, as you would expect as a result of living in France for study abroad I have collected quite a few new French Pharmacy skincare products. For now I hope you enjoy another post documenting my frequent travels!
