I have to say that I much prefer makeup in autumn/winter than in the summer, I can ditch the lightweight foundations for a more heavy-duty counterpart. It's also far more acceptable to bring out the darker eyeshadow and lipstick colours. So today I have autumn appropriate makeup menu, pulling out my beloved rust eyeshadows and jet black eyeliner - definitely my signature look for this season.

As always I started off by priming my eyelids with the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme de Nude to prevent creasing and ensure my eyeshadows last all day. Then I went straight in with MAC Cut to Fit all over the lid and slightly into the crease. This shade is hands-down the ultimate Autumn shade in my opinion, it's such a deep rust shade that isn't too red but still makes a statement when worn all over the lid. To help blend everything together and to tone down the rust shade I used Nudie from the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette which is a great crease and blending shade. Then I just put a bit more Cut to Fit on my lid to make the colour a bit more intense. To add a bit of highlight to my brow bone and inner corners I mixed Silk Teddy and Heaven from the Too Faced palette.

For my brows I used the Freedom Brow Pomade in Ash Brown to fill in the majority of my eyebrow and then went in with the Benefit Goof Poof Brow Pencil in a lighter shade just to fill in the start of my brow to get a gradient effect. I always set my brows in place with a tinted brow gel to keep it all in place.

To finish off the eye look I used the Maybelline Master Ink Eyeliner to create my signature winged eyeliner. I have always been a felt tip eyeliner kind of girl but this has made everything so much easier and lasts a lot longer than most felt tip eyeliners. I then finished the look off with a couple of coats of Benefit They're Real Mascara.

And that finishes my October makeup menu, what is your signature look for this month?
