I am becoming quite the mask obsessive, it's that one skincare product that is my guilty pleasure, I just can't stop buying them. Because I now have so many masks to my name I definitely like getting these mini sets of mask because there's no way I could ever go through all the products I have. Plus these mini sets are a great way to try out a couple of masks so you can decide if you like it before making the investment of the full size product.

The newest addition to my mini mask collection is the Peter Thomas Roth Mini Mask Magic Trio. I have heard so many great things about these masks but couldn't quite bring myself to pay over £30 for one of the full sizes. Luckily the three masks that I had wanted to try were in this kit and I picked it up in the French Sephora for €20 and even though they are pretty tiny if you use them sparingly and use them with other masks you can make it last for a while.

The Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

This is an intensive resurfacing mask that works to exfoliate the skin and making you look radiant and youthful. Let me tell you this mask does not mess around, this is intense stuff. When a mask should be left on no longer than 7 minutes you can tell that this is either going to work wonders or leave your skin in pieces, thankfully it is not the latter. One thing to note first about this mask is the scent, it has a very, very strong scent of pumpkin. Now if you've found your skin to be sensitive to products with heavy scents I would be a bit wary about using this but luckily it didn't cause any problems for me. I applied this mask to my cheeks, nose and chin area where I find my skin just needs resetting. It tingles on the skin and because my skin can be a little sensitive when it comes to super abrasive products I only kept it on for the minimum amount of time - 3 minutes. Then with a warm facial cloth I buffed it into my skin as I removed it. I noticed the next day just how good my skin looked. It looked brighter and had a noticeable glow and all my under the skin spots had started to fade away. I would buy the full size of this mask for sure as I really enjoyed the results that I got for it, but for a steep price tag of £34.50 I would definitely try and get your hands on a mini size first to test the waters.

The Cucumber Gel Mask

Next is one of the masks that I was really excited to try, the Cucumber Gel Mask promises to sooth and refresh irritated skin. Interestingly enough this product is partly targeted towards being used after irritating treatments like waxing, now I can't vouch for how good it works for that but I can say that it has worked so well on my skin. My skin can get very easily irritated, having dry skin is a big factor of this and I suffer with flare ups a lot so anything that has the word soothing in it instantly attracts me. After cleansing I put a generous layer of this mask all over my face and leave it on for around 10 minutes, as soon as you put it on you can tell that it feels really cooling and I find it to be lovely and relaxing. After the time is up you rinse it off with cool water. I don't know about you but I have never come across a mask that is supposed to be removed with cold water but it totally just makes sense with this mask and really helps to refresh the skin. I have been mainly using this mask in the morning when my skin is looking red and irritated and it just instantly helps my skin look a whole lot better and means I don't have to chuck on layers and layers of foundation to cover up the redness.

The Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask

Finally is what I would call my go-to kind of mask. Anything with rose in it is a winner for me and this mask in particular aims to hydrate the skin while eradicating dullness and reducing the appearance of fine lines. Basically in short this rejuvenates the skin and makes it look brand new again. After this and the cucumber mask I have totally jumped onto the gel mask wagon an have been loving the results. Like the previously mentioned mask I leave it on for about 10 minutes before washing it away with cool water. Again this makes my skin feel cooled and refreshed and soft to the touch. You could even apply a thin layer of this overnight if you want a really intensive treatment - maybe you have an event or something in the morning. All in all this is a great mask and I think I could go as far as saying that this is my favourite of the trio mainly because it just does everything I want in a mask - just makes my skin look and feel great. If I could only buy one of these masks again it would be very hard not to get this one.
