Styling my hair can be quite task; having fine, straight hair that doesn't hold a style isn't exactly ideal. So as you can imagine a lot of things go into my styling routine when I want my hair to actually look like it's got a bit of life to it.

Starting in the shower I like to use the L'Oreal Clay Masque to really make sure that my roots are squeaky clean. Because my hair is so fine I find that if my roots aren't super clean my hair can just be weighed down and it's harder to get volume back into it and this pre-shampoo treatment is one of the best products I have found for my oily roots. Then when I get out of the shower I just like to add a bit of some kind of hair cream to the ends of my hair, just something to add a bit of moisture to make my hair look nice and shiny. One of my favourites is the John Masters Organics Rose and Apricot Hair Milk as it smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling great.

Because my hair is so straight I always think that it looks better curled - the grass is always greener right. And I find the quickest way to do this, especially when I'm in a rush, is to use a hair straightener. First I spray some of the L'Oreal Hot and Curl Spray which is a heat defence spray which also helps to keep your curls in place. Then to curl my hair I use the Irresistible Me Diamond Hair Styler* which creates really nice curls and glides through my hair so nicely when using it. To finish it off I use the got2b Fast Dry Hairspray, this is supposed to be used when blow drying your hair but I like to use it like a regular hairspray as it's a really fine hair spray that feels nice in the hair while holding everything in place. Finally to get that extra bit of volume into the roots of my hair I use the Toni&Guy 3D Volumiser which is just a spray that gives so much volume to your hair without feeling stiff in the hair - a must have for people with hair that lacks volume!
