IN-BAG ESSENTIALS

August 16, 2016

Despite this being one of my favourite posts to read I have surprisingly never done one for myself. Part of me is crazy nosy, I love to see what's in people's bags, room, fridges - you name it, I want to see it. So here is your own little snoop into what I keep into my bag.

I used to throw everything into my old H&M bag but since getting the Topshop Circle Tote Bag I have been only putting in the essentials. I've also become that person to clear out their bag every time they use it which has helped me become a lot tidier. My obvious essentials that aren't pictured above are the things like my keys and headphones, because come on I'm sure you could have worked that out - oh! and also sunglasses of course!

My first essentials are deodorant and perfume. I use the Sure Bright Bouquet deodorant mainly because it smells so good, I don't normally need to reapply it but I've always got to have it just in case. I don't like to bring round my usual perfume with me so I just have this roller ball from Primark which smells pretty good. I also have my Michael Kors purse that I recently got for my birthday from my boyfriend which I love, the light blue shade is different but I think it's perfect. Compared to my old purse it actually fits everything - hooray!

Now for the beauty bits that I like to keep in my bag. A facial spray is a must and the Bioderma Hydrabio SPF 30 is the perfect one for the summer - it keeps your skin hydrated all day while giving you protection from the sun, a winner right? If you had seen my old bag I would have had a million different lip product options but recently I've been sticking to just the one, and for the moment I've been liking the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lips in Echo Park. This is a warm peachy nude colour that is great for everyday and gives a bit of life to your face rather than the grungey grey toned nudes that are 'in' right now. And then finally if you have a lip product you need to have a lip balm, because if you're anything like me your lips get crazy dry so I need to give myself a little lip balm break before applying another layer of a lip product. My favourite on-the-go lipbalm is the La Roche-Posay Nutritic Lips which is easy to apply and just makes my lips feel great.
