Finding affordable products that work for you is always so satisfying, knowing you didn't have to spend a whole day's pay on something more luxe. I am always on the hunt for the newest and best high street products that do the heavy work of some of their far more expensive counterparts, most weekends you can find me in the aisles of boots and superdrug looking at all of the new things hitting the shelves.

Maybelline is probably one of my top highstreet brands, so far everything I have tried from them has been great. My all time favourite product from them has to be the Lash Sensational Mascara, this is a close second behind my Benefit They're Real! Mascara which I don't think could ever be beaten. This makes my lashes look out of this world, gives me length and just the right amount of volume to make my lashes look thick and fluttery - much like false lashes. A newer find from Maybelline is their Master Ink Eyeliner, I chose the matte version as I am all about the really dark matte black winged eyeliner at the moment. I didn't think I would get along with this as I had always used eyeliner pens in the past but I was surprised at how easy this was to apply. The wand is the perfect shape to get a really precise and crisp flick, plus the colour is super dark and lasts all day!

Next is the Essence Sun Club 2 in 1 Bronzing Powder in 10 Sunshine. I only recently discovered essence, a makeup brand that is available in Wilkinsons, their low prices and large range of products really attracted me. This bronzer costs only £3.50 so talk about budget friendly, this is a 2 in 1 bronzer and highlighter that you can use separately or mix together. I have loved mixing the two colours together for a glowy bronzed look - perfect for summer! The shade is great for my pale skin - not being too dark or orange.

Like most bloggers out there I have jumped on the liquid lipstick band wagon and have been slowly making my through all of the drugstore liquid lipsticks and so far the Sleek Matte Me Lipstick in Birthday Suit has been my favourite. This a bit thinner in consistency than others I have tried which I prefer as you only need a thin layer of this which feels a lot more comfortable on the lips. The only problem I have which isn't too annoying is that it is quite drying on the lips. I normally put lip balm on after my liquid lipsticks anyway as my lips get super dry.

Finally are the Sephora Sheet Masks that I picked up while I was in France, my favourite that I've used so far is the Pearl Sheet Mask as it left my skin feeling so glowy and bright. Another favourite has been the Rose Eye Sheet Mask which is a saviour for dry and tired undereyes as this just really moisturises and soothes everything. I normally use these masks in the evening, after removing the mask I let the residue soak in over night and let it do it's thing. When I wake up my under eyes are soft and smoothed, ready for makeup.
