Whats In My Travel Makeup Bag

May 28, 2016

So I should start off by saying that I know this is a criminal amount of makeup to take with me when I am staying in a campervan in France, I know. But the beauty junkie in me can't just go on holiday with some bb cream and mascara, who knows what could happen! You need to be ready for every circumstance right? So if you look at it like that all this makeup is completely justified. Or so I tell myself.

So on the regular days I will probably just chuck on some foundation, bronzer and mascara and be done with it but if a situation arises where I need a full face of makeup - and there could be one! These are the products I will use. For the base I'm taking the Clinique Even Better Foundation, this has SPF 15 in it so is great for holidays plus it's light and not as matte as some of my other foundations. Then to cover and brighten my circles it's my old favourite Urban Decay Naked Concealer, this stuff is just the bomb. For the cheeks I'll be packing on the Hoola Bronzer to attempt to make people believe I have a bit of a tan, then adding a pop of colour with Milani Luminoso and topping it off with way too much of Mary Lou-Manizer because how can you not go over the top with highlighter.

I have been loving the Sleek Brow Stylist in Dark, it has an angled pencil similar to the ABH Brow Definer so makes creating a perfectly arched brow so simple, it's all I need for my brows. For eyes you will probably find me wearing the Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze all the time as it's a no-fuss eyeshadow that is the most beautiful bronze shade. Then obviously I can't be without my winged eyeliner and the Maybelline Master Ink Matte is my current favourite. Then to finish off the eyes it's all about the inner corner highlight using the Maybelline Master Drama Nudes Pencil in Rose Pearl and the best mascara ever, Lash Sensational.

So I doubt I will even end up using this liquid lipstick, but as I said I need to give myself options! The Sleek Matte Me Lipstick in Birthday Suit is such a beautiful colour and it lasts so long on the lips so it's perfect for going out in the evening for a meal or even on a day out.

How much makeup do you bring on holiday?
